The Salt Cave

Benefits of
Salt Therapy

Cleansing and opening the lungs, for improved breathing, can ease smoke-related symptoms like coughing, shortness of breath, and wheezing. In addition, the salt cave can reduce inflammation in the body and lungs, regenerate and exfoliate the skin to help fight acne, psoriasis, and eczema.

How to Enjoy

Salt Cave Halo-Therapy

This 45 minute session is in a room with dry pharmaceutical-grade salt that is heated, ground, and crushed into microparticles. These microparticles are then dispersed into the salt cave and mixed with Himalayan Salt through what is called a halogenerator that allows for maximum absorption. The non-inhaled particles then fall onto the skin which produces its own anti-inflammatory benefits.

Source of Salt Cave

The salt is sourced directly from the Khewra Salt Mine located at the base of the Himalayan mountains. The mine is one of the very few places on earth with non-polluted salt left because it's protected underground. Our magical salt cave in New York City welcomes you in for a soothing, expansive, and nurturing deep breath. This practice dates back to ancient Greek times when Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, spoke very highly of the benefits it had on lungs, breath, and recovery of muscles.
